What is Misago Convention?
Misago Convention is a Sunday Convention hosted and run by Stockton's Anime Club. The convention will be from 10am-6pm, making it's first run 8 hours long. This is a fun-filled, new adventure made to share each fan's enjoyment.
Where does the name ‘Misago’ come from?
Stockton University holds the osprey as their mascot. Thus, as a tribute to Stockton University the name misago was claimed since it translates to osprey.
How big is Misago?
This is Misago's first and founding year (2020). Thus, the convention will only hold 300 attendees for its first year.

Where can I park?
Stockton University has a parking lot and parking garage next to the building. The rate is $15 for 24 hours.
Do I need a Ticket / Badge?
All participants 5 and older must have a ticket/badge. No one without a badge will be permitted into panels or event rooms unless they are under the age of 5.
All children under the age of 15 must remain with an adult.
Where do I get a Ticket / Badge?
Tickets/Badges can be bought through our site (see the ticket page). You can also purchase a ticket at the door on a computer, with a debit/credit card (we will not be accepting cash at the door). If you are a Stockton student or faculty member you can purchase tickets at the information desk at Stockton University's Galloway campus.
How much does a Ticket / Badge cost?
Ticket/Badge prices change based on our pre-registration time. Pre-registration ends on (Date TBD)
Pricing during pre-registration: $15
Pricing for the month before the convention: $20
Pricing on the day of the convention: $25
*Stockton Students are entitled to one free ticket for themselves only at the Campus Center information desk.
Can I cosplay?
Yes, all cosplay is approved and encouraged, however it must follow the guidelines below. Please know that Misago will NOT have a cosplay repair station due to the size and scale of the convention.

Photography Statements
- By purchasing a badge/ticket, you agree to all terms in our Code of Conduct. Any violation may be punishable by revocation of your badge, and you will be removed from the convention premises without reimbursement. In extreme cases, we have the right to legal action.
- Anyone that fails to comply with staff or security may be asked to leave without reimbursement.
- There are no exceptions from the rules. Misago Convention reserves the right to modify rules at any time without prior notice.
- Badges must be worn at all time in order to gain access to Misago Convention events. If the badge is lost, one may return to the front to see if it has been turned in. If the original badge is lost than the attendee must purchase a new badge.
- Misago Convention does not have a a designated Lost and Found. All lost items will be sent to the front desk of Stockton's Atlantic City Information Desk.
- Misago is a family friendly event, all attendees must dress appropriately. Misago staff reserves the right to ask attendees to change their clothing. Please see the dress code section below.
- Bags are not to be left unattended. Any unattended items will be removed from the premises.
- Please practice good hygiene since this convention is held in a confined, one building space.
- Misago Convention is an alcohol and drug free event. Drugs and alcohol of any kind are strictly prohibited in the convention center.
- The convention does not allow pets, only verifiable service dogs are permitted attendance.
- The Stockton University Code of Conduct also applies to this event please see https://stockton.edu/student-affairs/publications.html for their code of conduct.
- Stockton University Atlantic City Campus does not permit smoking on the campus.
- Misago Convention and Stockton University are not responsible for any emotional or physical harm at the convention premises.
- Those that do not follow these rules or fails to comply with staff or security may be asked to leave without reimbursement.
Dress Code
- This is a family friendly event so please dress appropriately. Any lewd or risque outfits that would be deemed inappropriate for public events will not be tolerated.
- No nudity, partial nudity, or rude/profane clothing/signs will be permitted at the convention.
- All attendees must have their private areas covered at all times. This coverage must remain in place while moving/bending/posing/etc.
- Shirts are to be worn to cover the top at all times. Body paint is not an acceptable substitution for clothing. Capes will not be accepted in place of shirts. Tape over the nipples will also not suffice as a shirt.
- All attendees must have proper footwear on at all times during the convention.
- Costumes, clothing, objects, or symbols that contain, depict, or represent vulgar remarks or illustrations, adult content, hate, or hate speech in any language is NOT permitted under any circumstances.
- Those that do not follow these rules or fails to comply with staff or security may be asked to leave without reimbursement.
Weapons and Props
- Props larger than 5 feet and/or wider than 3 feet will be prohibited. If your prop is larger than this size you will be asked to remove it from the event.
- Costume pieces larger than a piece of jewelry that are constructed of metal, such as chains, armor, or handcuffs, are also prohibited. Spikes or studs longer than half an inch are not allowed.
- No live steel is permitted; this includes weapons such as swords, bayonets, knives, star knives, shuriken, or other metal-made objects. This includes any steel used for structural support in a prop or costume.
- No metal object will be allowed even if the prop's blade/edges are dulled.
- Firearms are not permitted. Nothing that can or has been able to shoot. This includes nerf/airsoft guns, BB and other pellet guns, crossbows, dart guns, blowguns, or water guns.
- Any prop too closely resembling firearms of any kind, is subject to removal via Misago staff and management.
- Prop weapons with movable parts without ammunition are also prohibited.
- Props made of poly-carbonate are prohibited.
- Stun guns and tasers are prohibited as well as props that resemble them too closely.
- No explosives, incendiary devices, or chemicals of any kind are permitted. This includes but is not limited to: smoke powder, sparklers, or fireworks, as well as any other reactive and volatile substance.
- Leashes may not be worn by any attendees, but service animals are required to wear leashes at all times.
- Using props in an unsafe manner is prohibited. Such as mock-fighting, swinging, throwing, and hitting yourself or others.
- Hover boards, skateboards, skates, non-ADA Scooters, and other personal vehicles will not be allowed in the convention.
- All weapons, real or fake, must be revealed and submitted for inspection by Misago staff at registration to determine whether it complies with the above rules. Approved weapons will be marked with brightly colored tape/ribbon by a security staff member.
- Those that do not follow these rules or fails to comply with staff or security may be asked to leave without reimbursement.
Photography Statements
- Cosplay does not imply consent for photography. If one does not wish to be photographed, then their decision must be respected.
- Panelists have the right to prohibit photography and video recording of their panels.
- All photographers and cosplayers must have valid admission to Misago Convention. Anyone without valid admissions will be asked to leave.
- Photographers may take photos with handheld equipment only.
- All photographers and cosplayers must act in a respectful manner. Blocking of paths is prohibited.
- Photography is not permitted in any part of the Dealers Hall.
- There are no photography stations for this year so be mindful of where you take photos.
